Music is an important part of our lives.  Whether we use it to relax, put us in a certain mood, or as an educational tool, music touches our soul and inspires us.

 

Several bands throughout history have tapped into this power of music and have written songs that educate and inspire, not just for their musical genius, but for their content, lyrics, and significance during their era. 

 

Similar to music, teaching is a powerful tool.  When standing in front of twenty young, impressionable teenagers, one truly understands this power.

            

Bands such as State Radio and Among Criminals understand this power twice-over.  These bands have had the opportunity to sit with high school students and explain their lyrics, their passions, and their motivation for writing their songs.
